The role of the Business Development Executive is to live SRM’s Core Values and represent SRM in their assigned territory to drive success for our clients and ultimately success for SRM. The candidate will have a strong history of closing deals and producing at high levels within the Financial Services Industry. The candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted and long-lasting relationships. Extensive travel is required but also the ability to lead and take ownership of working in a remote environment. Strong existing relationships a plus.
Responsible for developing new business opportunities, building relationships, and ultimately hitting sales targets
Identify prospects in the financial services industry to win new business and work side by side with the Client Manager in the assigned territory
Negotiate Master Service Agreement with new clients
Ability to translate visions and goals into realistic long- and short-range plans
Proactively identify initiatives that promote structure and growth
Build brand awareness
Strategize new ways to grow existing partnerships
Attend trade shows, events, etc.
Manage to a quota and expense budget
Skills and Competencies
Business to business sales experience preferred.
Knowledge of financial institutions organizations (bank/credit union).
Executive presence and ability to interact with and influence senior people within an organization.
Advanced presentation skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
10+ years of sales achievement
Solid track record in business development within the financial services industry
Strong bank and credit union C-Level relationships
