Job Summary:     

This position will support the Crypto Advisory Services team through rigorous research of digital assets (DA), blockchain technologies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, development/delivery of digital asset strategies, and the promotion of SRM’s Crypto Advisory Services. The position is an opportunity for a crypto enthusiast with strong analytical skills to work in an entrepreneurial environment with broad responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct research on blockchain technologies, protocols, yield strategies, and cryptocurrencies
• Identify DA opportunities and vendor(s) to bring DA solutions to market
• Negotiate 3rd party agreements with crypto/DA providers
• Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations
• Conduct strategy specific reporting and analytics
• Actively monitor news flow and developments across the blockchain/crypto space
• Identify and engage with opportunities for process improvement and growth
• Produce content including blog posts, whitepapers, and educational materials
• Conduct interviews with industry professionals and assist with SRM’s Crypto University

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills
• Superior skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills, with ability to convey complex information effectively
• Candidate should be comfortable speaking/interacting with C-Level Management and be able to represent SRM at industry conferences (including speaking engagements)
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Ability to sell SRM services and/or past sales experience is a plus
• Experience with negotiations is a plus

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required with a concentration in Finance, Economics, or Business preferred
• 5-10 years of work experience; while crypto industry experience is not required, working knowledge of and a keen interest in the crypto space is a must
• Preferred experience developing cryptocurrency, blockchain, or similar technologies, crypto trading, authoring DA articles, speaking, or being frequently quoted in industry media
